| We will need a good quality digital photograph to work with... but please don't be intimidated. Digital cameras vary tremendously in quality, if you don't have a good quality camera, you may consider borrowing a friend's for this purpose. Just remember that the end result cannot be any better than the photo we have to work with, so take your time and follow your specific camera's instructions to take the clearest, best pictures possible. It is best not to send snapshots taken at your brother's wedding or the backyard barbecue... If you don't feel confident, another option is to go to a professional photographer to take your photos. You can scan them yourself or send them directly to us via the mail.

For this program to work, we need a picture that does NOT intentionally expose or exaggerate the problem! Do not make expressions or try to cast shadows and light in an attempt 'bring out' the problem areas. Remember, the goal of the New Image Now program is to obtain good "after" pictures. The objective is not to see how radically a photo can be manipulated to 'fix' a problem; the objective is to end up with a photo result that you can show your surgeon as your goal for surgery.

Long hair should be swept back, and makeup application should be light or not at all. Take pictures in a well-lit room. The background should be as uncomplicated as possible, white/light walls are excellent. Lighting should be as equal as possible on both sides of the face in the full face shots. Make use of your telephoto lens if you have one. The head and only part of the shoulders should fill the entire frame. Usually a distance of 3' apart will be about right.
*Do not take pictures in bright sunlight. Bright sunlight has a tendency to flatten out or blanche out parts of a person's face and also it can create horrendous shadows. If you take the pictures outside, do it on an overcast day or very late in the day. *Subject should look straight ahead for front view photos, a good way to judge this is both ears should be showing evenly and the top of your ear will be approximately at eye level. This program is for you, so if you want smiling photos, please smile... if you want a somber expression, that is up to you. All I ask is that you don't expect me to change your expression for you!

For most of the facial changes we need one or two of four poses... your choice.*>
1) Front view, not smiling 2) Front view, smiling 3) Profile view, not smiling 4) Profile, smiling
*For cheek implants, a 3/4 view works best.
*For eyebrow/forehead work, please send a photo of yourself lifting your brow to the position you would like.
*For upper eyelid, please send a picture of yourself exposing your upper eyelids. Pull your brow up so you can see the eyelid crease, the way you would like for it to look after surgery!
*For the body changes such as breast augmentation or liposuction, you can wear what you like, but please, keep them decent!
*Use your best judgement, if you want to see lip projection, send a profile... lip shape, send frontal or 3/4 view ... neck lifts or chin implants ... send a profile.
IMPORTANT! DO NOT REDUCE THE SIZE OF YOUR PICTURES! The larger the picture file, the better the result will be! Send your JPEG picture file/s as attachments by clicking on the link below.
